Blue Zoo

Blue Zoo is a 2D and 3D animation based studio that's located in London, they create multi BAFTA winning animations and they craft creative playful CG character animation for all digital media platforms, with a fresh and quirky edge.

They range from children's TV series to striking commercials, short films and apps, and they have in-house skills to carry out all sizes of projects from just a twinkle of n idea to finished masterpieces.

I follow this studio on many social media websites like Facebook and Instagram so that I can keep up to date with there newest animations and projects. I do this because I really admire there work and how quirky it is but also how fluid the animation it, they mainly do 3D animation which is what I want to specialise in throughout my third year at college.

I have gotten in contact with Blue Zoo studios for a studio visit but unfortunately they only offer this serves to schools because the studio is so busy that they can't show around individual people every day. However, I'd like to do an internship with them in the future so that I can make my face familiar at the studio and so that I can make some connections in the real industry. This internship is for about six weeks and you get paid £300 a week which would help with the cost of living down in London throughout the internship, they also have many different types of internships like CG modeller and texture artist (which is what I'd like to do), character designer, and general artist.
